Covid Waiver
i. If circumstances due to Covid cancels, postpones, or alters the event in any way, and flowers/hired items have been paid for and are already bought for the event, Love Story Blooms will not be held responsible to pay/source/produce alternatives for flowers/hired items for new event date, nor will Love Story Blooms be held responsible to provide a refund for the flowers already bought. The customer does have the right to ask for the bought flowers.
ii. lf circumstances due to Covid cancels, postpones or alters the event in any way and flowers have been paid for but not yet bought, Love Story Blooms will provide a credit note. However, if the new event date coincides with other engagements with Love Story Blooms, Love Story Blooms has the right to refuse the booking.
iii. If any circumstances due to covid should close down the flower market hindering access to flowers for a booked event. Love Story Blooms will try their best to provide the flowers according to booking or if that is not possible then whatever flowers we may have access to as an alternative. If however, circumstances permits no access to flowers, Love Story Blooms will provide a full refund and will not be responsible to source a new flower supplier
iv. If circumstances due to Covid/Government regulations cancels/postpones an event, unfortunately as per our terms the 30% deposit is non refundable. Deposits and exact booking will be transferred to another date. However, if new date does not align with our current bookings and you choose to cancel, the deposit will be forfeited. Quoted prices will be honoured up to 6 months from original wedding date, after this a 15% surcharge will be applied to your order to cover increased flower prices and/or business expenses.
1. Booking Confirmation
1.1. By paying the full amount or deposit, you agree to the terms and conditions and confirm booking
1.2. 30% deposit (or full upfront payment) within 7 Days of Booking Issue Date in order to secure items and event styling on any particular date. This deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited in the event of a cancellation.
1.3. Any cancellations made within 2 weeks to your event date, all payments made will be forfeited.
1.4. A written quote provided by Love Story Blooms to the client is valid for 7 days from the issue date and is an invitation only to the customer to place an order/booking upon that quote. Prices subject to change after 7 days.
1.5. It is the client’s responsibility to check that all details of the service agreement are correct, as the order will proceed based upon the signed service agreement. Exact measurements and table spacing, etc. is the responsibility of the client to check.
1.6. No more than a 15% reduction of the total booking can be made after the deposit has been paid for whatever reason. No reductions can be made 30 days from event date unless agreed upon by Love Story Blooms. If the client wishes to cancel the event, then all monies paid will be foreited.
1.7. If due to unforeseen circumstances that a hired product becomes unavailable, e.g. such as recently damaged from another event. Love Story Blooms will endeavour to offer clients suitable alternatives, or refund the client on the product no longer available. Love Story Blooms is not responsible for any incurred costs to the client due to unforeseen product unavailability.
1.8. If a booking form is no longer valid (validity; 7 days from the issue date) and the client makes a payment towards a booking after the 7 day period, Love Story Blooms will not be liable if the event date is no longer available. Love Story Blooms is entitled to give the date / styling to another client. In the event that the date is no longer available and the client has made payment, the client will be refunded the amount paid within 10 working days (on a pay run day).
1.9. Items cannot be changed or refunded once delivered unless it is faulty.
2. Payment
2.1. The balance outstanding must be finalised 6 weeks prior to your event.
2.2. Bookings made in less than 30 days to the event will need to make full up front payment.
2.3. All payments are to be made via bank transfer.
2.4. Please allow up to 10 business days for Bond Return via Bank Transfer or Pay ID.
2.5. If hired items are stolen or broken which exceed the bond payment, the cost of the items broken or stolen will override the bond amount. If there was no bond payment, Love Story Blooms has the right to collect payment of the hired item's value.
2.6. In place of a bond payment, we are entitled to hold your Credit Card details until the end of the event. In the event of any damages/loss to the hire item, we will notify the customer prior to charging their credit card for the full cost of the hired item.
2.7. After initial deposit has been made, the client can add more items/services to the booking but cannot decrease the booking price by more than 15% of the final quote.
2.8. Further payments after initial 30% deposit can be made in installments.
2.9. If final payments are not paid within the due date, Love Story Blooms has the right to withdraw their services where any deposit payment will be forfeited.
3.Delivery, Pickup and Labour Surcharges
3.1. Minimum delivery charges to Sydney Metro for prop hire is $100.00. Minimum pack down charges to Sydney Metro for prop Hire is $100.00. Additional charges may apply for longer setup periods and/or further distances.
3.2. Love Story Blooms has the right to charge as the business sees fit to pay for venue time frame set ups, man power, labour, deliveries and pack downs.
3.3. Staff members are allocated accordingly to each event to ensure smooth running of each event day.
4. Liability for Venue Restrictions & Wedding Planners
4.1. Love Story Blooms is not liable for any restrictions of our services made by your venue on the day of your event. i.e. draping, floral ceiling Installation, backdrops, tables etc.
4.2. Love Story Blooms is not liable for any miscommunication/information that has not been reiterated between Love Story Blooms and the Wedding & Event Planner to the client in question.
5. Variations & Amendments
5.1. Prices subject to change in accordance with customisation of any of our items, flower walls/floral table skirting, floral arrangements.
5.2. Availability of our services/styling or any of our props are subject to change after the 7 day quoted period unless otherwise stated by Love Story Blooms.
6. Fresh Floral Availability
6.1 Love Story Blooms does not guarantee specific floral types, as this is subject to market and seasonal availability.
7. Liability for Damages & Personal Injury
7.1. Love Story Blooms is not liable for any injuries or accidents due to breakages/mishaps whilst props are in your care.
7.2. Love Story Blooms is not liable for any injuries, damages or mishaps for any purchases that have been custom made to client specifications once in the possession of the purchaser.
8. Cancellations/Postponements
8.1. If you choose to cancel/postpone/have a change of mind on event date, deposits and exact booking will be transferred to another date where it is possible to accommodate. However, if new date does not align with our current bookings and you choose to cancel, the deposit will be forfeited. 9. Hire items and installations
9.1 Love Story Blooms has the right to refuse any installations on the day of the event if they deem the environment where the installation or arbour will be set up, to be hazardous or unsafe.
9.2 Love Story Blooms has the right to refuse the set up of any props or hired items outdoors if there is no shelter from rain going on the hired items, that may cause potential damage to the hired item.
9.3 All hire items provided by Love Story Blooms, including but not limited to silk flowers, vases, and décor, remain the property of Love Story Blooms and are for hire purposes only. These items must be returned in their original condition at the conclusion of the event.
9.4 Guests and clients are strictly prohibited from taking hire items. Any items not returned will incur a replacement fee equivalent to the full retail value of the item.
9.5 A refundable security bond of $300 may be collected prior to the event. This bond will be held until all hire items are returned in their original condition. Should any items be lost, damaged, or taken without authorization, the cost of replacement or repair will be deducted from the bond. If the replacement cost exceeds the bond amount, the client will be responsible for the balance. If no bond is charged, the client will be responsible for the replacement cost of the hire items.
9.6 The bond will be refunded within 10 days after the event via bank deposit or pay ID, subject to a satisfactory inspection of all hire items.
10. Pictures/videos
10.1 Love Story Blooms has the right of ownership to any pictures of the set up they should take on the day to post Love Story Blooms Social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
